Passport and visa
British passport holders don't need a visa for South Africa for stays of 90 days or less. Your passport must be valid for at least 30 days after you leave South Africa and have at least two blank pages.

If you hold a non-British passport, please check your own country's requirements before booking.

Health
No vaccinations are currently required to enter South Africa from the UK. We recommend checking with your GP or a travel clinic before you go.

Travel insurance is not included in your package price and is a condition of joining the trip.

Customs rules

From 1 July 2026, all travellers entering or leaving South Africa are required to submit an online traveller declaration before travelling.

Part 1: General

The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. Therefore, you will benefit from all rights applying to packages. We, Lifestyle Padel Limited trading as Padel in the Winelands (company registered number 16842263) with registered office 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX, will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole. Additionally, as required by law, we have protection in place to refund your payments in the event that we become insolvent.

Part 2: Key rights under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018

• Travellers will receive all essential information about the package before concluding the package travel contract.

• There is always at least one trader who is liable for the proper performance of all the travel services included in the contract.

• Travellers are given an emergency number or details of a contact point where they can get in touch with the organiser.

• Travellers may transfer the package to another person, on reasonable notice and possibly subject to additional costs.

• The price of the package may only be increased if specific costs rise, and if expressly provided for in the contract, and in any event not later than 20 days before the start of the package.

• Travellers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee and get a full refund of any payments if any of the essential elements of the package, other than the price, are changed significantly.

• Travellers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee before the start of the package in the event of exceptional circumstances, for instance if there are serious security problems at the destination which are likely to affect the package.

Lifestyle Padel Ltd t/as Padel in the Winelands is committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection. In accordance with the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, all passengers booking with Lifestyle Padel Ltd t/as Padel in the Winelands are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation form. The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Lifestyle Padel Ltd t/as Padel in the Winelands.

This Policy is issued by Evolution Insurance Company Limited which is registered in Gibraltar No. 88737 with a registered office at 5/5 Crutchett’s Ramp, Gibraltar, GX11 1AA. 

Evolution Insurance Company Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Commission in Gibraltar and authorised and subject to limited regulation by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK. Details about the extent of our authorisation and regulation by the FCA are available from us on request. 

In the unlikely event of insolvency of Lifestyle Padel Ltd t/as Padel in the Winelands, please follow the procedures below:

Claims should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the Administration order Lifestyle Padel Ltd t/as Padel in the Winelands being declared insolvent supported by documented evidence quantifying the value of the claim.

Policy exclusions: This policy will not cover any monies paid back to you by your Travel Insurance or any losses which are recoverable under another insurance or bond (with the exception of Credit and Debit card). This policy will also not cover any loss sustained by Passenger(s) booked on a flight-inclusive package sold and commencing within the United Kingdom.

Policy Period covers bookings made within the dates specified regardless of date of travel

The Insurer is the controller of the personal data provided in relation to this Policy. The Insurer is registered with the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority (GRA) as a data controller and is listed on the Register of Data Controllers under registration number DP003699.
