Passport and visa
British passport holders don't need a visa for South Africa for stays of 90 days or less. Your passport must be valid for at least 30 days after you leave South Africa and have at least 2 blank pages.

If you hold a non-British passport, please check your own country's requirements before booking.

Health
No vaccinations are currently required to enter South Africa from the UK. We recommend checking with your GP or a travel clinic before you go.

Travel insurance is not included in your Package price and is a condition of joining the trip.

Customs rules

From 1 July 2026, all travellers entering or leaving South Africa are required to submit an online traveller declaration before travelling.

Part 1: General

The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. Therefore, you will benefit from all rights applying to packages. We, Lifestyle Padel Limited trading as Padel in the Winelands (company registered number 16842263) with registered office 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX, will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole. Additionally, as required by law, we have protection in place to refund your payments in the event that we become insolvent.

Part 2: Key rights under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018

• Travellers will receive all essential information about the package before concluding the package travel contract.

• There is always at least one trader who is liable for the proper performance of all the travel services included in the contract.

• Travellers are given an emergency number or details of a contact point where they can get in touch with the organiser.

• Travellers may transfer the package to another person, on reasonable notice and possibly subject to additional costs.

• The price of the package may only be increased if specific costs rise, and if expressly provided for in the contract, and in any event not later than 20 days before the start of the package.

• Travellers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee and get a full refund of any payments if any of the essential elements of the package, other than the price, are changed significantly.

• Travellers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee before the start of the package in the event of exceptional circumstances, for instance if there are serious security problems at the destination which are likely to affect the package.

In accordance with the current ''The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations'' all passengers booking with Lifestyle Padel Ltd are fully insured for Package Price as detailed in your booking confirmation form.

The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Lifestyle Padel Ltd.

NB: If payment for your holiday was made by credit or debit card you must contact the Claims team on the contact above in the first instance for instructions.

Policy exclusions: This policy will not cover any monies paid back to you by your Travel Insurance or any losses which are recoverable under another insurance or bond (with the exception of Credit and Debit card). This policy will also not cover any loss sustained by Passenger(s) booked on a flight-inclusive package sold and commencing within the United Kingdom.

DATA PROTECTION

AVS (ASUA) and the Insurer gather and process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any relevant data protection legislation.

Personal data may be used by AVS (ASUA), the Insurer or third parties for underwriting and claims purposes and in order to administer the policy. AVS (ASUA) and the Insurer will ensure that personal data is kept secure, is used only for the purpose for which it was supplied and is retained only for as long as necessary.
